My tribute to the man some might call the enfant terrible of 20th century surrealism.
Some might say that Salva Paw Dali sees the world through different eyes. I’d disagree, he sees a totally different world through his wonderful feline eyes. Eyes that see time as a molten clock, lobsters as a cat’s dinner rather than just a telephone and blazing giraffes as severe annoyances when a sensitive artistic cat genius needs to take a nap. Forever twisting the very fabric of reality to squeeze out just one more startling image.
Materials: Clay, glaze, a hint of lobster, a dash of melted time and the long lost howl of a bereft giraffe.
Individually imagined, sculpted by hand, decorated and fired in my studio located in the fair city of Lincoln, UK.
